English is cool in Japan so the makers want to convey a message but make it easily understandable to the mass population. So they use phrases like “Let’s Lunch” to make it easy.
Anyways, the funniest sign I have noticed doesn’t contain any English at all and you don’t need to read Japanese. Check this out! Poor dog!

We walked down some random streets to find somewhere to eat and discovered a closed bar called “Andrew’s”. I’m sure I don’t have a bar, and if I did I wouldn’t leave it lying around this part of town.
Unless a future me came back to the past and set up a tiny bar in Hamamatsu. It’s the only explanation!

Interac kindly paid for taxis until they could get me a new car. (taxis were very expensive). So now I have some new wheels! Check it out. It even have a wooden steering wheel and gear stick.

At that time the price was only 300 yen per pack! (About 2.30GPB or 3.70USD).
I’m not sure the price in the UK now but I can guess they are about double that over there. I should take up smoking and I might actually save me some money!
